Sorghum crop

Sorghum is the largest summer crop grown in Australia with an annual volume of up to 2 million Tonnes. It is produced primarily in the Northern cropping belt of Eastern Australia and typically harvested in March to June.  Australian Sorghum is exported for production of Alcoholic beverages such as Baijiu and is also used extensively in the intensive livestock industry as a quality feed.
